Coalition of African Artist Communities (CAAC)
The Coalition of African Artist Communities (CAAC) is a membership-based cohort of Anaphora Ethiopic, with the purpose to connect and promote artist communities throughout Africa.
CAAC’s core mission is to give a collective voice to all of its members (including organizations, educational institutions, advocacy institutions, individual artists, and more); to promote successful practices in the field; and advocate creative environments that support the work of African artists. CAAC will do so by: connecting its members through networking opportunities; developing a database of resources relevant to the artist communities; providing professional development services in the field; and advancing funding partnerships to bring new financial resources in the field.
